Stayton geneaology

A couple of weeks ago, I received an e-mail from a man with the last name of "Stayton." Just so I can find his information, I'm editing and posting his e-mail here.

I am ______ Stayton, Sr. I live in Louisville, Kentucky.

I saw your name on the internet and thought I would write. Have you done any work on your Stayton genealogy?

I went last year to Staytonville, Delaware. The Staytons were there in 1665. They moved down to Snow Hill, Maryland; hence to Accomac County, Virginia then in the late 1700's they moved to Marion County, Kentucky.

Sincerely,
____ Stayton

Not that the information is so inherently fascinating to anyone but my relatives -- but I still thought his information was pretty cool.

Was there any mention of family members moving to Arkansas? I am also a Stayton, currently residing in Alabama, but my grandfather was raised in Arkansas.

There is a Staton/Stayton family
history book written in 1960
revised in 1982 by
the Rev. John Staton.
The book contains 951 pages.
Could do a look up.

Brian, Where in Valrico do you live? My name is Jack McNatt and I live in Bloomingdale East. My grandmother was a Stayton and she lived in Staytonville, DE when she was growing up. Many of my Stayton ancestors were buried in the graveyard in Staytonville. I have copies of both Sta(y)ton genealogy books that were published by the Rev. John Staton. Have you done any research on your family origins?
Spring little league is starting up and my three granchildren play at the Bloomingdale little league park. My son-in-law is coaching two teams this year.

I have been doing quite a bit of research on the Satyton, Staton, Staten, Staunton, Stanton Family that came to DE via Leicestershire and Warwickshire in 1666. I have records dating back to 1400 in the U.K. (My husband is British, so I travel to the UK frequently...)

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run
into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My site has a lot of exclusive content I've either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any solutions to help reduce content from being stolen? I'd definitely appreciate it.

Can anyone recognize Franklin L. Staton? I have been looking for his siblings and parents for years and years with no luck. Here is what I've got:
- 2 records indicate his name was Franklin (Frank) L. Staton or Stayton
- most likely he was from Tennessee; some Tennessee census records were burnt during the Civil War so his first and only census is from 1870 from Pocahontas, Current River, Randolph County, Arkansas
- his marriage record indicates he married Martha Ann Hoosier in Woodruff Arkansas on 16 May 1867
- his marriage record and census indicate he was born between 1835 - 1837
- his last child was born in 1881 so his death had to be between 1880 - 1891 as a land record indicates Martha was a widow by 1891
- his children were Jinsey, Benjamin H., Roxana, Ida Fay, Mary Caroline, and maybe Jesse
- there is no record of his parents, siblings, grave location
