Update time
It's once again time to recommence blogging. In July, I took the boys to Kansas to see my family. We had a great time. The annual Sumner County Wheat Festival was going on. I've posted a handful of pictures from the weekend.

I'm so sorry to hear about your divorce. That is always a painful process. You've not asked for any advice and you certainly can reject this, but I counsel a lot with families wh have gone through divorce and have a few words to offer:
1) Even if they seem to be doing fine, divorce affects kids. At some deep level they usually think it's their fault even if told otherwise. When they are adults they are usually hesitant about commtted relationships and it causes them problems then. The best antidote is open talk with assurances that it wasn't them causing anything.
2)Never bad-mouth their mother. If you demean her in any way it causes them to begin to have disrespect for all authority figures in their lives (dad, teachers, cops, etc.
3)Get counseling before jumping inot another relationship too quickly. Healing takes time and you don't want to bring heartbreak into another relationship. 2nd marriages have less favorable stats than 1st ones, many times because issues from the 1st marriage were not resolved.

I don't blame "the X" for being angry at you for airing all the dirty laundry for the world or whomever gives a shit to see, but what she really out to have bitched you out about is the way you expose your children via the internet to dangerous predators.
It doesn't take a genius P.I. to find those kids if one wanted to do so...um, Brian Stayton, P.A. anyone with access to a few databases could find your kids if they wanted to abduct them.
And besides all that, why blog anyway? What the hell makes you think anyone wants to read about your boring life?!
I only came here to read about Angelina's latest antics...guess I was too late!
2nd Anonymous - People who are frightened of the internet amuse me. Sure, a pervert is going to search out a site called Stayton Thoughts, wade through the political comments, focus in on a few family photos, do the necessary PI work to figure out who and where they are, and then actually do something, despite the normal family protections. All that, instead of bothering a neighbor or relative he can intimidate into silence. Do you realize how stupid and remote that is?
Besides, I'd think the photos of the kids with guns would serve as a warning . . .
As for Brian's boring life, you're clearly correct. Not everyone can live the life of excitement and intrigue like an anonymous blog commenter.
